Yep, you go it. This is about Lakme Eyeconic Kajal. I’m sure it’s the best drugstore makeup item we know of. It’s been my favourite for years! I absolutely love the fact that it glides easily on the waterline and I have to do that a few times before I achieve that dark rim (yes, you don’t get the deep black in one go). I bought it because, obviously, it’s a trusted brand and I don’t regret it. C’mon, we all know how deceiving advertisements can be. I’m not complaining that I have to run it on my waterline multiple times, though.

Now, why do I love it so much that I’ve been using it for so many years? Only one reason. I haven’t found an eye pencil that doesn’t make me look like a raccoon. It’s waterproof, yes, but no eye pencil, kajal or kohl in the world will stay put for almost the whole day (maybe in colder countries, but hey, I’m a Mumbai girl. I’m bred in the tropics!). In the climate I live in, even during winters, this kajal doesn’t stay for long, but the best part is that it will fade without making dark circles. Trust me, I say this after trying and testing, as I always do. There’s no escaping touch-ups with this one, though you’ll be glad not to have to wipe off the smudged product.

Another feature that’s quite a deal-breaker is the design. It’s a retractable eyeliner pencil with a secure cap and I can peacefully use it without fearing it has caught dust.

So, what can you do with the eyeconic eye pencil?
Use it as kohl, use it as an eyeliner or even to colour your eyelid for a smoky look.
